About Stephen Bennett
Stephen Bennett is one of the world’s premier harp guitarists and a master of fingerstyle technique. In 2024, he won the International Finger Style Guitar Championship at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, becoming the first person in the festival’s 52-year history to hold both that title and the National Flatpicking Championship, which he won in 1987. A seasoned performer, Bennett has also appeared at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall, most recently on March 22, 2025, as a featured guest in Jason Ji’s “Finger Pickin’ Good!” concert. Known for his lyrical compositions, innovative arrangements, and warm stage presence, his holiday-themed concerts blend technical brilliance with heartfelt storytelling, making them a cherished seasonal tradition.
