Martin C-2 1932. These are the rare Martin archtops from the 1930’s. There were actually a fair number that were built in the ’30’s but few have survived – the reason being that many were converted to OMs by replacing the tops. The incentive for the change is largely financial: Martin OM’s and 000’s from the 1930’s command higher prices. This one is essentially all-original and in very good condition, no top cracks.
