Larrivee 00-12 1974, Cedar & Indian rosewood, early Larrivee string grand concert size guitar, very rare, we have only seen two come through the shop, this guitar is a very much like Bruce Cockburn’s first Larrivee made in Jean Larrivee’s classical guitar style with a footed heel.Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary aquired a 1973 non-cutaway Larrive that became his primary instrument for many years until stolen at a Florida concert. The instrument re-appeared on Ebay in 2005 and was ultimately returned to Peter Yarrow. Peter is shown with a newer Larrivee in the above picture and has been a loyal endorser since the early 1970’s.
