Gibson ES 140TGibson ES 140 was made from 1950-1956. In late 1956 the ES 140 was modified and released as the ES-140T between 1956-1968. It was thinner than the original ES 140. They were all 3/4 sized Archtop Electric Guitars designed for people with smaller hands. They were essentially small versions of the Gibson ES-175.The guitar has a single cutaway (Venetian), 12 3/4″ wide body, maple laminated single bound body, one P-90 pickup, one piece mahogany neck with a 22 3/4″ short scale and a gold silkscreen logo. Most were produced in sunburst finishes but there were a few natural finish models.
